WHAT IS SPUD FEST ALL ABOUT?
WHAT IS SPUD FEST ALL ABOUT?
Basically, a celebration of all things potatoes! Spud Fest is a volunteer run, not-for-profit, one day festival held in conjunction with the Lions Club of Scottsdale. The aim - to have an enjoyable day in the community of Dorset. With local food, beverages and entertainment, with the theme of potatoes of course!
To be held at the Scottsdale Recreation Ground, we’re hoping to bring a cozy and fun atmosphere for families and a perfect spot for a wine and a spud. We have some exciting entertainment planned and will release details as soon as we can!
Whether you are a connoisseur of loaded fries, a jacket potato lover, a fan of the potato pie or simply love the humble spud in all forms, this festival promises a day packed with local produce, artisan makers and their wares, a place to indulge your taste buds and tap into a passionate community. A platform for Scottsdale, local farmers and wider community.
Access and Inclusivity at Spudfest
We want Spud Fest Scottsdale to be an event for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. We aim to provide a safe, inclusive and enjoyable day for everyone.
The event is held outdoors at Scottsdale Recreation Ground. Visitors should expect mostly grassed areas, which can be uneven in places. There will be music played from a main stage for the duration of the event. There are several different performers, you can check out our program to see what times each performer will be playing. There is accessible parking and accessible toilets available on site.
Assistance animals, support people and carers are welcome and we offer companion tickets - please email us if you need one. Food vendors may have different allergen and dietary arrangements, so please speak directly with vendors about your requirements.
For feedback, access questions or to discuss specific needs before attending, please contact the Spud Fest team via spudfest.scottsdale@gmail.com.
